High School

I know my purpose & next steps.

High School at The Academy is a launchpad for life.

Students deepen their faith, sharpen their skills, and discover their God-given calling. Our program blends rigorous academics, entrepreneurial thinking, real-world challenges, and meaningful mentorships to equip students for whatever path they choose: college, business, service, or creative pursuit.

Students prepare for life by actually living life. We remove the artificial and inject the real. They lead projects, launch ventures, travel, serve, and build a portfolio of value created. They graduate not only with a transcript, but with clarity, confidence, and a compelling sense of purpose.

What the teens say

Want to know more about the high school experience at The Academy?

let’s see if we’re a good fit.

  • We’re making independent, capable life-ready leaders. We don’t babysit teens through assignments. We train them to lead themselves, discover purpose, and build the skills and mindset needed for life beyond school. Students graduate with real experience, clarity, confidence, and a deep sense of who God made them to be.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10

  • It's a LIFE-prep program. So yes, if college is the right next step. But we don’t believe college is the only path to success. Our students build portfolios, complete internships, launch real projects, and get equipped for any future: college, career, service, or entrepreneurship.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” – Proverbs 16:3

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” – Proverbs 1:7

  • Through clarity, transparency, and public accountability. Students set goals, track progress, and share their results. They know where they stand, and so do their guides, peers, and parents. We care more about mastery than seat time. Additionally, they receive feedback and familiar letter grades and percentages in their academic coursework as an additional data point on how they are performing and learning.

“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” – Philippians 2:4

  • Students master the core academics while building real-world readiness. They run businesses, tackle challenges, travel, serve, and wrestle with big ideas. They don’t just prepare for life, they live it, under the guidance of mentors and in the context of faith.

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” – James 1:22

  • Faith isn’t an elective, it’s the foundation. Students are invited to know Jesus deeply, think biblically, and stand firm in truth. We’re preparing them to lead in a world that doesn’t always share their convictions—and to do it with grace, wisdom, and courage.

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” – 1 Peter 3:15

  • By helping them discover purpose, gain clarity on next steps, and build real-world competence. They don’t just leave with a transcript. They leave with experience, confidence, a portfolio, and a mission. And they learn that by doing that with input and feedback from real world practitoners.

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” – Proverbs 21:5

  • Students who are hungry to grow and ready to take responsibility. They just have to be open to challenge, feedback, and real ownership. We’re not here to entertain. We’re here to build leaders. Teens looking to coast or be told what to do, need not apply.

“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise.” – Proverbs 13:20

  • We use tech strategically, not passively. Students use digital tools for research, planning, and creation, but most of their day is spent collaborating, thinking, building, and engaging with real people and problems. We teach students to lead tech, not be ruled by it.

“All things are lawful for me, but I will not be dominated by anything.” – 1 Corinthians 6:12

  • Our goal is not just to graduate students, but to launch Life-Ready leaders. By the end of high school, students know who they are, what they believe, what they’re good at, and where they’re headed next. They also have saved a bunch of money, built and led teams, managed a community impact project, held real jobs, launched real businesses, and dominated their academics, maybe even gotten a head start on college credits.

“Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles.” – Isaiah 40:31
